What we do
Discovery connected to tickets. Every comedy show in a city listed with the actual line-up, and every comic on the bill linked to their clips, so an audience member can watch two minutes and decide. Tickets sold directly with low fees, since independent producers currently lose a large share to platforms. Personalised recommendations based on the comics whose clips the user actually watches, which is the connection nobody makes between online comedy consumption and live attendance.
Who we built it for
Comedy audiences aged 21 to 45 in cities with live comedy scenes, plus the independent comedians, producers and small venues who cannot fill rooms.
The problem
Live comedy has never been more popular online and independent shows still play to half-empty rooms, because audiences have no idea what is on.
Show listings are scattered across a hundred venue pages and social posts, ticketing is a mess of different platforms, and audiences cannot judge a comic they have not heard of.
Meanwhile the same audience watches hours of comedy clips daily.
